Questions & answers

Everything clients ask us

The short test: is it repetitive, rule-based, and does someone do it more than a few times a week? If yes, it is almost certainly worth automating. If you are not sure, book the one-hour strategy call — we will map your current process and tell you honestly whether the numbers work.

A single workflow starts around $250. A custom chatbot with integrations runs $1,500–$3,000. A full business process automation is $5,000–$15,000, and enterprise work goes beyond that. Every service page lists its own range, and you always get a fixed price in writing before we start.

Every project includes free support for a fixed window — 30 days on most work, 60 days on full process automation, 90 days on custom development. After that you can either handle it yourself using the documentation we hand over, or move onto a retainer.

We ask what you are trying to do, why, what your current process looks like, and where it hurts. From there we define scope, estimate effort and send a written proposal with an itemised price, a timeline, and a clear line between what is included and what is extra.

Fixed-price projects are 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. Retainers are invoiced monthly. Local clients pay in KES by bank transfer; international clients pay in USD by bank transfer, PayPal, or through the marketplace platform we are engaged on.

Yes. You own the automations, the accounts they run on, and the documentation. We do not hold your systems hostage — if you ever want to take it in-house or move to another provider, everything you need comes with you.

Make.com, Zapier and Airtable for workflow automation; the OpenAI and Claude APIs for AI features; Node.js, Python and JavaScript for custom work. We pick the tool that fits the job and your budget, not the one we feel like using.

Kenyan clients are quoted in KES; international clients are quoted in USD. Rates are equivalent — the currency is just whichever is easier for you to work with.

We work async-first with clear written updates, so most of our clients never notice. Nairobi is EAT (UTC+3), which overlaps with the European working day and the early morning in North America. We schedule calls to suit you.

A basic workflow is 2–3 days. A medium build is one to two weeks. Full business process automation runs 14–30 days, and custom development is typically 2–12 weeks. We give you a date in the proposal and we would rather beat it than miss it.
